About the story

Emma Kunz and the plant world

Emma Kunz intensively studied the effects of plants. After the discovery of AION A in 1942, she discontinued the production of her herbal tablets and only continued to produce herbal essence. This was available until the 1980s. After that, the product disappeared from the market and the recipe remained lost.

After years of intensive discussions, the manufacturer at that time handed over the recipe to the Emma Kunz Center. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Hüsler. The herbal essence according to the original recipe of Emma Kunz was known at that time under the name "house spirit".

The Best Way to Apply

The herbal essence is suitable for external care for the whole body. It can be used to massage and care for joints and muscle areas. Particularly beneficial is massaging the entire spine from top to bottom.

Of course, you can also use the essence as a room fragrance. You can apply a few drops of the herbal essence on a fragrance stone.

Tips

Apply the herbal essence around the neck and then wrap the neck with a pure silk cloth. Special care and soothing for colds.

Notes About the story Fields of application The Best Way to Apply Tips Key ingredients Ingredients overview   100 ml miraculous ointment sports ointment With the power of fresh buds from the Muota valley, for rhythmic rubbing in, after sports, for optimal well-being of muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. Notes Powerful buds of the spruces and ferns of the Bödmeren primeval forest in the Muota valley, traditional herbs from the monastery gardens and incense make the monastery ointment something very special. The combination of ingredients of the Muotathal Monastery Ointment is based on old traditions of monasteries and the secrets of ancient knowledge of traditionally used plants. A rhythmic rub combined with the Muotathal Monastery Ointment serves the well-being of muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons. About the story Monastic knowledge The combination of ingredients is guided by the traditions of monastic knowledge and is based on the ancient, well-kept secrets of the gentle effects of traditional useful plants. Attention has always been paid to the harmonious combination of plants, buds, oils, minerals and vitamins. At the very back of the Muota valley, one of the most primeval forests in the Alps has survived: the Bödmerenwald, which covers about 550 hectares. Parts of it are primeval forest-like, so they have hardly ever been influenced by man. The climate, geology, flora, vegetation and animal richness of the Bödmeren are unique. The columnar spruce saplings and buds obtained from the Bödmeren in spring are particularly powerful. This is because the trees, which are up to 500 years old, have an exceptional protein that can only be found in the primeval spruces of the Muotathal. This makes the Muotathal monastery ointment particularly rich in energy and known as a miracle ointment.
